1. About SWP Works

SWP Works provides online tools to assist users in creating Safety Work Packs, Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), Safe Systems of Work and related safety documentation.

SWP Works provides assistance in producing professional documentation but does not replace competent safety management or legal duties.


2. User Responsibilities

The user is responsible for ensuring that:

  • All information entered is accurate.
  • Documents are reviewed before use.
  • Documents are suitable for the specific task.
  • Site conditions have been properly assessed.
  • Risks have been identified correctly.
  • Control measures are appropriate.
  • Documents comply with current UK legislation.

3. Professional Review

Documents produced by SWP Works are intended as a professional starting point.

Every document must be reviewed, amended where necessary and approved by a competent person before work begins.


4. No Professional Safety Advice

SWP Works is software.

It does not provide legal advice, engineering advice or health and safety consultancy.

Users remain responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant UK legislation including, where applicable:
